The Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway connects the town of Echigo-Yuzawa directly to the Yuzawa Plateau.
Visitors can enjoy a 7-minute aerial walk from the base of the ropeway to the summit, a distance of 1,303 meters with a height difference of 500 meters, while enjoying the seasonal changes in nature.
The ropeway is one of the largest in the world, with an interior space equivalent to two buses and a maximum seating capacity of 166 passengers.
Through the large windows, visitors can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Uonuma Plain and the Tanigawa Mountain Range below.
